Anne Brockel

As a new member and the Middle School Representative on the School Board for the next three years, I am open to your suggestions and ideas! Several of the goals I have for the Middle School are: to schedule and implement several Rec/Socials for the 2007-2008 school year; to start an extra-curricular Service Club for the middle school students at St. Paul School; and to facilitate participation by our middle school students in the weekend Mass through music, readings, etc…

I have been married to Larry for 17 years and have a stepdaughter who is married; Kevin, a junior at Kettle Moraine High School; and Cari-ann in 7th and K.C. in 5th at St. Paul School. I have a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). I worked for the federal government for 16 years and stayed home with my three children for approximately 10 years. This is my third year of substitute teaching for the Mukwonago School District and for St. Paul School. I have my Wisconsin Teaching License (K-8) (Go Badgers!) and my Sub Permit (K-12).

My motto is "Don't ask, What can St. Paul School do for me? Ask, What can I do for St. Paul School?" With our beautiful new Church, our hardworking principal and staff and a dedicated group of Christian parents continually working to improve our school, I feel the sky is the limit!

Robin Gedney

Hello, my name is Robin Gedney. My husband Joe and I have two children at St. Paul's, Isaac in 2nd grade and Grace in 1st grade. I also have two children at home, Clare who is 4 and will be at St. Paul's next year and James who is 2. I have been a part of St. Paul's Parish for the past 20 years. I run Robin's Nest Family Child Care and enjoy spending my days playing with the kids. We also raise Chickens and sell their Natural Eggs. Just this month we started hatching our own chicks and it has been very exciting for all of us.

I stay involved with the Parish and School by being on the Fish Fry Committee, and the K-4 Committee, and now the School Board. I teach 9th grade Religious Education, am the Assistant Cub Master for the Cub Scouts, Wolf Den Leader and help my husband coach the St. Paul's Town of Genesee U7 Soccer team.

My job on the School Board is to improve the communication between the Board and the Parents, Parish Council and Community. If you have any ideas to share, or feel we did not communicate something the best we could have, I am the person to contact. I would like our School to be seen as an important part of our Parish and an asset to our community. You can help me do just that by telling everyone what a great place St. Paul's School really is.

I am excited to be on the School Board and hope to help make our school even better than it already is. If you have any concerns, questions or comments about any of the actives I am involved in, or the School please contact me, I would be happy to listen.

Carol Kinney

I was born and raised in Milwaukee where I graduated from Messmer High School and received a B.S. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I attended graduate school at the University of Kentucky where I received the M.S. degree in clinical psychology and met my husband, Ray. We returned to Milwaukee where I completed an internship in clinical psychology at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Center and was then employed there until choosing to be a stay-at-home mom for a number of years. I currently work for Cornerstone Counseling Services in Waukesha, along with my husband who is also a psychotherapist.

Ray and I have been married for 25 years and have three children at home: Nathaniel, a senior at Pius XI, and Evan (8th grade) and Natalia (5th grade) at St. Paul School. In addition, we have an adult son living in New York and an adult foster son living in Milwaukee. I have been an active volunteer in all of my children's schools (public and private) over the years, ran an after-kindergarten program for a year, and have been a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. We have been members of St. Paul's parish for 4 years and were active participants in the family CCD program prior to our children attending the school here.

During leisure time, when not attending one of our children's activities, I enjoy spending time in nature hiking, canoeing, bird-watching, and family camping, as well as reading and gardening.

I am excited to be a new member of the school board this year and am serving on the Character Building Committee.

Beth McFadzen

Hi, I am Beth McFadzen. My husband Peter and I have been members of St. Paul parish since 1997 when we moved here from Milwaukee. We were married in 1990 , and we have enjoyed our 17 years together. I am the proud mother of two boys. The oldest, Dustin, is now a sophomore at Kettle Moraine High School and the youngest, Tyler, is a 5th grader here at St. Paul's School. Both of my children have spent many good years at St. Paul School. We enrolled when Dustin was in Kindergarten and have been here ever since.

I am now in my 22nd year of teaching special education students in one of the Arrowhead feeder districts. I currently teach children with special needs at Lake Country School in Nashotah. I have experience teaching children with a wide variety of disabilities. I love the challenge of finding the "key" that opens the world of learning to each of the individuals. I enjoy working with kids with special needs, and find it a rewarding experience. I just finished my Master's Degree in Administrative Leadership in August of 2007, and I am enjoying the peace of not having to attend classes weekly. In that spare time, Peter and I are now helping to facilitate the RCIA program to induct new members to the Catholic faith. This is something I feel quite passionate about.

In my free time I garden, read, and spend time with my family. We love to travel and explore different cultures as a family. My favorite place so far was the island of Aruba. I hope one day to return and enjoy the warm weather and the fantastic snorkeling.

Mike Schmidt

My name is Michael Schmidt and I am the father of two students at St Paul's School. My daughter, Abby, is in 6th grade and my son, Jacob, is 3rd grade. My wife, Jennifer, has volunteered, and continues to volunteer, in many capacities for our church and school.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin's School of Pharmacy in 1993 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree followed by an additional year completing an Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency. I have been employed as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center for the past 10 years. The position is a non-traditional pharmacy practice, in which I manage patients' medication therapies consisting primarily of anticoagulant, cholesterol, and hypertension medications. I am also an Associate Professor for the UW School of Pharmacy and serve as an instructor, preceptor, and mentor for pharmacy students.

Through my work, I have ongoing experience working on committees and in forums in which it is imperative that all members work together to achieve positive outcomes. As a member of the St Paul's School Board, I will strive to continue the hard work of those board members that have served before me. I look forward to donating my time and effort in the maintenance and improvement of our school. I hope to make a positive impact on my children's education, as well as the education of the present and future students of St Paul's School.

Dave Tomasiewicz

I'm Dave Tomasiewicz. I am a native of Chicago, Illinois, where I was educated in the parish schools of the Archdiocese and at St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. After baccalaureate studies at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, and graduate studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, I left the retail industry and moved into teaching in an urban Catholic parish school in Chicago. My wife, Jennifer (St. Paul School, class of 1986) and I, Margaret (11, 5th grade) and Sophie (6, 1st grade) have been members of St. Paul since moving to Dousman in 2003. I have served as classroom teacher, Dean of Academics, Disciplinarian, Athletic Director and Curriculum Director, and am currently Director of Development, for St. Anthony School of Milwaukee, America's largest Catholic grammar school.

Kris Tontis

My family has been a part of St. Paul's parish since December, 2000. My husband and I have four sons - two graduates of St. Paul's, one 3rd grader and two still at home. I am born and raised here in the area. I am a graduate of a Catholic grade school and high school. I have a BA in Economics from Marquette University and a MS in Accounting from UW-Milwaukee. Professionally, I was a Controller for a wireless technology company with offices in Milwaukee, Tampa, FL and Lyon, France. I have just recently made the jump from corporate accounting to being an independent accountant with my own practice.

I am honored to be a part of the School Board given that I will be involved with my children's education for many years. I have personally experienced how much St. Paul's has to offer my children and my family as a whole. The Christian values that are present provide the environment that aid my children to grow and become responsible young adults. In return, I hope to help St. Paul's grow and prosper so that the mission can be continued for current and future families.
