The administration of the parish is overseen by the Administrative Services Committee.  It makes recommendations to the parish council concerning all aspects of parish financial and budget matters, personnel, stewardship of resources, church support and fund raising coordination, and upkeep of the physical facilities and properties of the parish.

The activities and recommendations of this committee are firmly rooted in the biblical concept of stewardship.  The committee works closely with the parish council and is supportive of all other committees.

Stewardship

In October, 2008 as a parish family we began the journey of embracing Biblical Stewardship/Sacrificial Giving as our grateful and trusting response to God’s many blessings, s giving from the first fruits of our lives not from what is left after all of our desires are satisfied, a way to share our time, talent, and treasure in the spirit of the Scriptures.  Biblical Stewardship  concretely expresses our faith, what we say we believe.  Everything we have comes from God.  We are not owners but stewards and our responsibility is to use and share these gifts wisely for the good of all.  The journey into Biblical Stewardship/Sacrificial Giving is our Lord’s call to be faithful disciples and to sacrifice and serve for the sake of others.  We channel this giving to our parish because it strives to bear witness to the meaning and values at the center of our lives.  Embracing this approach of gratitude and trust in our loving God is a moment of grace for us and for our parish.

Biblical Stewardship/Sacrificial Giving is much more than a yearly appeal to support our parish.  It affords us an opportunity to take a fresh look at our giving, re-evaluate its place in our lives, and decide what proportion of God’s resources we will use to make this expression of faith.  Our participation is an on-going process of conversion as we come to a deeper understanding of our relationship with a loving and generous God.  Parishes embracing this biblical approach have found it to be both faith-enriching and community building.  Our generous God keeps the promises in the Gospel, both providing all we need and giving us the ability to see as God sees.

Parishioners may fulfill their commitments in the traditional manner at Sunday mass or by signing up for automatic fund withdrawals. If you are interested in taking advantage of this convenient option, [Click Here] to download the Electronic Withdrawal Form. After filling it out return it to the parish office.
