CATALOG INFORMATION:
To look for a book in the St. Paul School Library click here. You can look up books by Title or Author. You can find out if there is a Reading Counts Test(RCT) on the book. You can also find the lexile number and the reading level for a particular book. Please contact the School Office or Mrs. Berner to obtain the login information.
LIBRARY CLUB:
Founded by Mrs. Berner in 1985, the Library Club is open to students in grades 4 – 8. All meetings are held during the school day. Since it is considered a type of service organization to the school and some noon recesses are given up to participate, the club operates on a point system. If 20 points are earned by May, the member is awarded with a no cost field trip. Click here for a full list of activities and their associated point value. Students must complete a short “How Much Do You Know” quiz in order to become a member, however, there is no cost to join.
MAGAZINE COLLECTION:
Back issues of magazines may also be checked out. Magazines available include: American Girl, Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, Horse Illustrated, Kids Discover, National Geographic for Kids, Pack O Fun Crafts, Ranger Rick, and Sports Illustrated for Kids.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR:
Book fair is held during the month of October. Students visit the fair during their assigned class library times. Birthday books may be donated to the library at this time off a suggested list. A name plate is placed in the book with the student’s name and birthday.
